Access, not gatekeeping
Every room we build is a room someone can walk into for the first time. No prerequisites, no insider language, no waiting for permission.

Our story
FTF started in 2019 as twelve engineers meeting in a borrowed meeting room, comparing notes on the things nobody puts in a job description. It grew because the format worked: bring practitioners together, keep the talk specific, and follow up.
Today we run mentorship cycles, bootcamps, career clinics and monthly meetups across 24 cities, with a network of partner companies who hire from our rooms. We are still the same thing at heart — women in tech making each other's next step shorter.
Most of the people in our rooms are between 16 and 25, and many of them are the first in their family to work in technology. Everything we design starts from that.

What we believe in
Every room we build is a room someone can walk into for the first time. No prerequisites, no insider language, no waiting for permission.
We talk about real systems, real code and real trade-offs. Our programs are led by practitioners who ship, not by keynote slides.
A promotion, a first offer, a talk given, a team led. We track the outcomes our members reach, and we design the next program around them.
Testimonials
“I came to my first meetup on my own and left with a mentor. A year later I was the one demoing our project on stage.”

“Nobody in my family works in tech. FTF Academy showed me what to learn first, and then who to send my CV to.”

Priya Raghavan

“The workshops were the first place I built something real. I still use that project to explain what I can do.”
